• Mighty No. 9

After numerous delays, and 3 years of development, Mighty No. 9 has finally released to the public. As you may know, I was extremely excited for this game, and even backed it. It’s been a long time since a new Mega Man game was released, and that’s why the Kickstarter fared so well. Perhaps this very reason is why I enjoyed Mighty No. 9 so much. Truth be told, MN9 hasn’t done so well in reviews. I’d like to talk about why that might be. MN9 is not a bad game, but it is a budget game. One with a very high budget for a an “indy” title. I think…

  • Shantae Coming To 3DS & Vita!

With Mighty No. 9 fully funded beyond the final stretch goal of $4,000,000, we focus our attention to his older cousin, Shantae. Already funded with a couple of stretch goals reached, it isn’t doing quite as well. This series has consistently delivered solid platforming ever since it’s debut. The more funding they get, the better game they’ll be able to bring us. Have a look and back the game if you like what you see.

  • Mighty No. 9 Coming to 3DS and Vita

Mighty No. 9 has reached the stretch goals for not only Playstation 4 and Xbox One, but in the last couple of hours, they managed to reach the 3DS and Vita goal, single player Call stage and boss, and optional retro-style chiptune sound track and FX. The final revealed stretch goal is online ghost race mode, but there are still ?’s beyond that. With 2 hours to go, as of this writing, here’s to Inafune-san and our new hero, Mighty No. 9!

  • Inafune’s Mighty No. 9

Mega Man creator, Keiji Inafune left Capcom because they wouldn’t let him work on the Mega Man series. He offered to come aboard to help build new Mega Man games, but they refused. He hasn’t spoken to anyone from his former company in a long time. Now, he wants to create a new game that seems to be a spiritual successor, Mighty No. 9. The logo is quite suspicious and might need to be changed, but if you dig through the Kickstarter page, you can see that this isn’t just Mega Man Redux.
