Ironcast is a turn-based strategy game that looks like a puzzle game on the surface. When I first got a glimpse of the game in action, it looked like a Puzzle Quest clone with a steampunk spin, but after playing the game, I came to realize that it has only aesthetics in common with that series. FW:All Animators -You’re Fired- Langrisser Re:Incarnation -TENSEI-! What a mouthful that is. What is a langrisser? Why is it being Re:Incarnated? What is the deal with this title? Well, as the name implies, Langrisser Re:Incarnation -Tensei- is an attempt to resurrect a dormant tactics series in order to capitalize on Fire Emblem’s new found resurgence of popularity. Langrisser may not have been the most popular RPG series on the planet, but it did/does have its own set of devoted followers. Zone Of The Enders: The Fist Of Mars
Unfortunately, Konami “ended” this series too soon… Ah, Zone of the Enders. The lovable mech-based action games from the PS2 era which time (and Konami) has forgotten. As fate and/or luck would have it, this series also happened to received a GBA entry. However, being a fan of the action based PS2 titles does not necessarily translate to being a fan of this entry. It is common knowledge that the GBA is nowhere near as powerful as a PS2, and because of this Konami took a different approach to the series: a tactics based strategy RPG.
