• New Reviews Are Coming

I haven’t posted a new review in a while, but that’s because I’ve been busy with a few rather long games. I assure you, I am working on it. The image above are the games I am currently playing. I want to finish these games before passing judgement. Here’s a list of game reviews in the works.

  • River City Ransom: Underground Kickstarter

I know that recently, I’ve been posting a lot of Kickstarter projects. In my defense, that’s because I’ve been backing all of them. This one, just happens to have a fairly good chance of coming out on the Vita. That is, if it gets a whole lot more backing. I’m a huge fan of the original game as well as the GBA remake, so this looks really cool with its 4-player co-op and a slew of new characters. Check it out.

  • New RF4 How To: Crafting

Last time, the folks at XSEED gave us a quick introduction to fighting and farming. This time, they want you to see how deep the crafting system is. To be honest, it may be a little too deep for me, but I’m still excited about this game. Inside, I’ve got a picture of the game’s US Box Art. It’s not too shabby, if you ask me.

  • Introductions Are In Order

This is the new Etrain Odyssey Untold trailer for alchemist, Arthur Charles. More info on him inside. Etrian Odyssey Untold demo will hit Nintendo eShopnext Monday on Sept. 16! Also, to settle some conflicting reports, EVERY pre-order and copies from the first run of Etrian Odyssey Untold will come with the “Untold, Unseen, Unheard” artbook and CD. It’s not limited to participating retailers.

  • XSEED To Bring Trails In The Sky SC West

I received an email today which is rather important for fans of the PSP RPG series The Legend of Heroes. There’s so much good stuff, I’ll just post the email contents for you. The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky SC, digitally to PC and the PSP® (PlayStation®Portable) system (including compatibility with the PlayStation®Vita handheld entertainment system) in 2014. The first chapter, previously released for the PSP system as The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky, will also be released for PC this winter.

  • Project Phoenix Kickstarter Funded

Coming to the PS4 and Vita in 2015, Project Phoenix aims to please those who long for the days when JRPGs were as common place as FPS games are today. There are a lot of big names dropped in this trailer, and if you’re the type to do so, you can back this, to help the team reach their stretch goals if you hurry. There are only 4 days left on this one. With the promise of terrain being featured in the combat system, I really hope this project goes smoothly.

  • LE Pokémon 3DS XL Coming Stateside

If you’ve been holding out on buying a 3DS until Pokémon comes out, or if you’ve been waiting for a really ugly limited edition Pokémon 3DS XL, September 27 looks to be the day for you. Maybe this thing is to your liking, but I’m just not feeling it. If you do fancy either of these, I would suggest reserving yours at your local stores.

  • The Future Of Tekken

This has been on my mind for a while now, and doesn’t have very much to do with portable gaming. I don’t know where else to post this rather lengthy article. If you’re a Tekken fan, it may be worth a read. Please express your thoughts in the comments below.

  • Inafune’s Mighty No. 9

Mega Man creator, Keiji Inafune left Capcom because they wouldn’t let him work on the Mega Man series. He offered to come aboard to help build new Mega Man games, but they refused. He hasn’t spoken to anyone from his former company in a long time. Now, he wants to create a new game that seems to be a spiritual successor, Mighty No. 9. The logo is quite suspicious and might need to be changed, but if you dig through the Kickstarter page, you can see that this isn’t just Mega Man Redux.

  • Nintendo To Distribute Special Torchic

Copied from Nintendo’s Official Page: Starting on October 12th, Pokémon X and Pokémon Y players can get a special Torchic holding the Blazikenite, the Mega Stone needed for Blaziken’s Mega Evolution.
